With Sympathy -- card for My Nannies sweet furbaby

Hello, friends! I hope you are all having a fantastic week so far! Today I have a card for my sweet Nanny! She lost both of her dear puppies in a matter of 4 days. She is positively heartbroken because they were her children! I had a friend about a year ago who had lost her doggie and so I purchased this perfect stamp (from Papertrey Ink) set for just this kind of sad time. It is good to have on hand, but I hat having to use it ;-)


I used Papertrey Ink cardstock and DCWV patterned paper.








Sorry for the lack of words today! I am actually in bed with a stomach bug and am having trouble writing this. Aren't stomach bugs the worst!

    My condolences to your Nanny. Yes, I also have pets and they are like my babies. So I can totally understand the heartache. Please give her an extra hug for me. Love the card and very appropriate at this time for your Nanny. Hope you're feeling better soon!

    Oh Melanie, I am so sorry you are sick--get some good rest and feel better soon. Thank you for being a trooper and sharing with us even when you don't feel well.Gentle hugs and prayers go out to your Nannie--our pets have such special places in our hearts. If you lived in Oregon I would bring you some homemade chicken soup in a few days--((( big hugs))) coming instead.

    aweeee, wish i could've seen the sentiment on the inside. i just bought two stamp sets dog/cat from stampin up just for this purpose, and have already made 2 doggie sympathys. i got a card from our vet when i had to put down my furbaby and it made me feel better to know someone understands.

    Hope you feel better! I feel the same way about sympathy cards of any type. I have a hard time making them. It's also the type of card I just can't make myself "make ahead" of time just incase. I don't want to have a just incase for anyone. :-(. Again, feel better soon!

    Oh I am so sorry for your nanny's loss. To loose one is bad enough, but 2 in 4 days, I think it would break my spirits so badly. I have 4 dogs, and indeed, they are my children. And eventhough I know the time will come when I have to say goodbye, I am not prepaired for the heartache whatsoever!
