Today I have a non-cricut card that I made using a stamp set, ribbon, and paper from Papertrey Ink. I also added a little bit of shading with a copic marker. It is very subtle, but it makes it much more realistic!

Now for a little tip: For the shading of this entire flower I used a grey C1 marker. It mimics a shade darker than the color of your paper, so it takes out all of the guess work! I really love this technique!
I hope you have a fun weekend planned. Joy and I will be in the kitchen working with our Cricut Cakes. We are planning an entire week next week of creations using the new machine. We are also giving away a Cricut Cake, Elegant Cake cartridge, Holiday Cake cartridge, and a Birthday Cake cartridge. You are definitely going to want to check that out!
Pretty, Pretty, Pretty card Melanie!!
