Hello Thursday blog hop featuring Once Upon a Princess

Hello Thursday, everyone! Today we are doing a mini blog hop again to show you some really cool thing you can make with the new Once Upon A Princess cartridge that Cricut just announced today. It is a very cute cartridge. At first I thought I would not find much use of the cartridge since I have a little boy at home and not a girl. Then upon closer inspection I found this cartridge to full of possibilities.

This first project is a layout I made using some of the fantastic word art that is included on this cartridge. To me it is one of the bright spots of the cartridge! It makes making titles for your scrapbook layouts a snap!

The title was cut out at 4" and then layered on the it's shadow. I used CTMH paper and cardstock. Also, the little rain boots are a CTMH stamp.

the clouds were cut from an old SU! paper line. The sun is a CTMH stamp.

Another awesome thing about this cartridge is the tag feature! I just love it. There are so many wonderful layered shapes and they make fantastic journaling tags. This one was cut at 3 1/4".

The next project I have for you today is this VERY feminine card. When I saw that flower I just knew it would be one of the first things I cut.

The flower was cut at 2". I also cut another tag from the cartridge at 3 1/4" which I used as my focal point.

The paper is an older K and Company line. The sentiment stamp is Verve and the flourish stamp is CTMH.

The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink.

Don't you just love this cartridge!! I am giving away a Sweet Treats cartridge and drawing the name from the comments left on this post. So, if you want to be entered in the the giveaway sign up as a follower of this blog and leave a comment. I will be drawing the winner on Monday morning.

Now it is time to head to Tammy's blog to check out the fantastic things she has done with this new cartridge. She is also giving away a cricut cartridge.

If you did not come from Joy's blog, make sure you head over there as well. She is giving away a cartridge and has a few awesome projects she has made with this cartridge.
