Q: Why do you not have more specific instructions on your projects?
A: This is because when I did, some people where taking my projects and teaching how to make them in a class for which they made money. This is NOT ok and to prevent this, I keep the instructions to a minimum. My projects are for private use only and for inspiration. They should not be used for financial gain.

Q: Can I use your projects as an entry for a contest?
A: No.

Q: Can I post your project on my blog?
A: No.

Q: Can I use your projects as inspiration to make my own projects and post them on my blog?
A: Yes.

Q: Will you trace a cut or cuts from a project you made and email me the template.
A: No. You need to buy the cartridge shown if you want that particular cut. Besides this would be a copyright infringement.

Q: I am teaching a Cricut class. Do you have handouts that you can give me?
A: No.

Q: How do I get Provo Craft or any other company to sponsor my blog?
A: You can try to contact them and ask them. I cannot get a sponsorship from one of my sponsors for you.

Q: How do I get free stuff to giveaway on my blog?
A: The old saying that nothing is free is very true. My sponsors provide materials for me to showcase but it is a ton of work and a very large time commitment to continually provide new projects that highlight the specific collections. Also, not everything given away is given to me by a sponsor - I provide some giveaways myself.

Q: I would love to get on the list of free products from various companies. How do I get on that list?
A: Well, in all honesty, there is no such list. Many companies will do test groups or focus groups. These companies pay attention to online communities and message boards as well. I do not know how these individuals are chosen.

Q: Can I put your blinkie on my blog?
A: Yes you can! It's simple and we greatly appreciate the support.

Q: How do I put your blinkie on my blog?
A: To add my blinkie to your blog--simply copy the html code provided on the right sidebar and paste it into your blog (blogger folks do this by adding a gadget). It's pretty simple and I greatly appreciate the support. It puts a smile on my face every time I see my blinkie living on one of your blogs!

Q: Can you help me set up my own blog?
A: I am afraid I cannot help you with this. There are many tutorials online though that are very helpful. Just google what you want to know!

Q: Can you donate giveaways for my blog?
A: Unfortunately, I only have enough giveaways for my own blog.

Q: Do you work for Provo Craft?
A: No. I am on the design team and part of the Hello Thursday program.

Q: How much money can I make from a blog?
A: This varies quite a bit. I am not making much as I do not have ads on this blog. The only money I make is from selling Close To My Heart. Even if you have ads up, don't start looking for a million dollar home. Most of the time large blogs only make a few hundred a month. This is not a get rich quick scheme.

Q: Why do you constantly push Close To My Heart. I feel like all you want me to do is buy stuff.
A: I love Close To My Heart and have been a consultant for many years. During the first several years that I was a consultant I did not announce it on the blog. However, when they partnered up with Provo Craft I felt it was a good time to share all of the Close To My Heart goodness. Again this is the only way that I make money on this blog. Otherwise I do this completely for free. You are not obligated to ever purchase anything from me, but I like keeping my viewers informed as many are my customers.

Q: Should I buy from you or my own consultant?
A: If you have a consultant that you are very loyal to, order form her. However, if I am the one who inspired you to buy an item I would love for you to buy from me. It is really up to you.

Q: I have a wedding/school project that I need to make. Can you design a project for me?
A: I cannot do this for you, but I have made many projects that might spark some inspiration. Check out the older posts on my blog and you might find something you like.

Q: I am a Close To My Heart consultant and I would like to use your photographs of products on my blog. Is this allowed?
A: No. I take the time to take the photographs and upload them. Please take your own photographs.

Q: I asked a question in the comment section and you did not answer it.
A: I do not answer questions from the comment section. If you have a question please email it to me. I respond very quickly to email, so you will get a prompt response.

Q: I am a Close To My Heart consultant and I would like to use your projects for my classes. Is this allowed?
A: No. I take the time to design the projects and make them. Please do not then take them for your own financial gain.

Q: Can you start including the sizes of the cricut cuts you use?
A: I do when I can. If I use the Cricut Craft Room to design the project, I will not include the sizes as I have no idea what they are.
