Cricut Artbooking Christmas card!

  Hello, friends!

Today I have a fun Christmas card that I made using the Artbooking cartridge and the Santa's Greeting stamp set. This card was lots of fun to make and I like the whimsical feel it has. If you colored the stamp with markers instead of paper piece like I did, this would be super easy to mass produce. If you only like making A2 sized cards, this could be easily adapted using the rectangular swirl frame instead of the square one.

I have to tell you guys something I discovered while making this card that excites me to no end! I was trying to find ribbon in my stash that was the right shade of red. Now anyone who knows me knows that I have a copious amount of ribbon. However, I could not find ribbon that really went well. Then I remembered how I had some color ready seem binding and alcohol ink markers! I simply colored the seem binding with a CTMH cranberry marker and voila! It dried in just a couple of minutes and was ready to be tied and put on the card. This is a game changer for me, ladies! I never have the right shade of purple or green ribbon on hand and now I do!

I used Cranberry, Colonial White, and Sweet Leaf CTMH cardstock.

  52. Hi Melanie, you can also use your stamp pad re-inkers to die seam binding (it takes a tad longer, but worth it). Take wax paper (or one of the craft mats that won't absorb liquid), put about 3-4 spritzes of water on the mat and however many drops of ink and mix (its best to wear plastic gloves), then roll your seam binding in your color. If you need it a little darker, add more color and repeat. I take my heat embossing gun and lightly dry my tape. I have made a ton of custome colored ribbon to match my crafts.
P.S. I'm the one who just place a CTMH order with you in Round Rock.
