I have some really terrific news! During the first day of the Close To My Heart convention, today, they announced that there will be indeed another Close To My Heart Cricut cartridge. It is called Artiste and is even better than the Art Philosophy cartridge. Who knew that was even possible? I will of course be selling this fabulous cartridge starting August 1st. I will start showing projects made using this FABULOUS cartridge starting Thursday/Friday. I look forward to hearing what you guys think because it has just totally exceeded my expectations.
Now for some words of caution. I know that there were some people taking pre-orders for cartridges at a very large reduction in price. If it sounds to good to be true, ladies, it almost always is. I know many of you are my customers and will be ordering from me anyway, but if you do a pre-order please be careful. My heart just broke last year when so many of those women lost their money. I will not be doing pre-orders, but you can order from me August 1st and I will give you the absolute best customer service that you have come to expect from me.
This afternoon I was lucky enough to win something at convention and now want to pay it forward by giving away an Old West cartridge to go along with today's convention which has a Texas theme since we are in Texas).

ReplyDeleteMyself, I don't think there could ever be to many cartridges, and I am always looking for the older ones I missed out on, so it sure would be cool to win this for my collection. I now have a Cameo but I still love my cricut machine! matter of fact I just picked up a second criscut expression last week for when the girls come over to scrap. ReplyDeleteI really love your style of card making but hate how especially lately you seem to be scrambling as hard as you can to keep people interested in Cricut stuff. I do love the Cricut machine way more than ones that use images off the internet. But Cricut went way wrong a long time ago by making the cartridges ridiculously expensive, promoting newer and more expensive machines (remember the E2 was supposed to be constantly updated with the computer screen and THAT never happened) and lately by making regular cartridges having a fraction of the number of images normally included. If Cricut goes under, I will be really sorry. But it seems to be all about money, money, money, not about reasonably priced crafting - and aren't they supposed to be a faith-based organization? Not according to my faith - a good product at a good price, very reliably, for the good of the community. Again, I love your blog for the cards you make, your style, and the fun you seem to have. But if you continue to make it all about "follow Cricut at all cost" instead of about the love of crafting -and giving joy through giving cards, what it is all about - then you will lose a loyal follower. I would love to see you become an independent blog and keep the fun and lose the pressure to become money oriented. That's the kind of person I follow.

You did me a kindness when I ordered the Art Philosophy cartridge by sending me the Flower Shoppe cartridge totally unexpectedly, which came at a terrible time in my life. So thank you for that and I hold out hope that you get back to being that kind of person. We need more of those people in this world.

It's always interesting when a new cartridge is released since we are always looking for something new or different or the perfect cartridge for our projects. Think of it as something like new shoes! :D

I am so excited about the new Artiste cartridge. I have lots of cartridges and my go to cart is the Art of Philosophy. This is by far my favorite!! Can't wait to see what the Artiste has in store for me. Yippee!!! (That's for the old west cart)

I honestly think that there are way too many Cricut Cartridges -- it's now so hard to choose BUT since this new one is CTMH then it is A-OK! The Philosophy cartridge is one of my top 3 "Go to" cartridges and I just know that this new CTMH cart will be just as great if not greater.
